Wichita Falls Police have recovered the instrument after the thief attempted to sell the guitar to a pawn shop; drugs are the alleged motive for the robbery.

Brian Hofeldt’s classic 1966 silver-glitter guitar was stolen from The Derailer’s van last night in Wichita Falls, Texas on their way to Santa Fe, NM for a concert.

This is a one-of-a-kind instrument and easy to identify due to it’s rare and distinctive appearance. Fans, please be on the lookout for it and let’s return this fine instrument to its rightful owner.
