jcd-sherman.jpgNo one could have said it better about Jon Christopher Davis than did fellow songwriter and singer Rodney Crowell. “If you crave a singer who can play, a player who can write, and a writer who can sing, Jon Christopher Davis is your man.” One could only add that Davis is unique among musicians in that he is he as left brained as he is right brained; in other words, someone who has good business skills that go along with his musical masteries.

Davis, originally from Bonham and now from the Metroplex, comes back to Texoma as often as he can. He spent years in Nashville where more than 20 of his songs were recorded by artists including Dolly Parton, Hal Michael Ketchum, Tammy Cochran, Sherrie Austin, Billy Ray Cyrus and Timothy B. Schmit of the Eagles.
